6-INCH
WOOFER.
The cone moves air. Its back-and-forth movement creates pressure changes that we hear as sound.
The voice coil drives the motion. The audio signal through the coil creates force in the driver's magnetic field, moving the cone.

PERSONAL.
SO ARE WE.
The song you come back to.
The people you share it with.
The room that suddenly feels like yours.
Founded in New York in 2017, AlphaWorks brings thoughtful audio design into everyday life. Our starting point is simple: good sound should be part of the moments that matter to you.

THREE DECADES.
ONE OBSESSION.
Andy Wehmeyer brings more than 33 years of professional acoustic design and tuning experience to AlphaWorks.
As Audiofrog’s President and co-founder, his work also spans automotive audio, where loudspeaker design and precise tuning shape how music sounds in a real listening space.
Alpha Works sound by Audiofrog
In 2025, AlphaWorks and Audiofrog began a strategic research and development collaboration. The W99 is one expression of that shared acoustic expertise.
